From USA Today Bestselling Author Kelly McClymer comes a dramatic romance full of tension and passion.

Juliet Fenster yearns for someone to see beneath her flirtatious surface to the passionate and dedicated woman beneath. Her stylish hand-carved buttons may look like mere ornamentation, but they also serve a practical purpose for a local village artisan and his family.

R.J. Hopkins wants nothing more than to find a plain, practical bride in his hometown of Boston. However, his father insists that he accompany the family to London, where they hope to marry off his sister to an English lord and better the family standing in Boston society. While attempting to help a friend untangle himself from the notoriously flirtatious web of Juliet Fenster, R.J. discovers that his heart and his head don’t always work together.

Can a woman born and bred to be lady of the manor survive in a stiff and proper British household?

Ok. So I bought this book even though I had only read the first one in the series and didn't even like it that much.
I was intrigued by the excerpt and the first sample chapters enough. I enjoyed the first chapters and actually quite liked the book Up until the wedding. After that it all went down the drain for me. I kept waiting for something interesting to happened. I felt like after that point the newly weds relationshiip in my opinion took a second role to that of the male lead family - bride relationship. I find that as with the first book the ending seems rush and there are so many points that are just left hanging, that I ask my self why even mentioned them. This is the first romance book I read where the spouses never say I love you to each other. There is this "I know he loves me " near the end and that is it! I believe in showing the love rather than just saying it but common not even once?!
In my honest opinion this dosnt compare with JQ's Bridgerton series...........but that's only my opinion.

Anyway below I explain some of the things that where left open IMO so stop here if u don't want to know them:

1. What's up with the Buttons!? It is mentioned across the hole book. Miranda in one conversation with the groom tells him how Juliet is responsible for the creation of them and to not tell her he knows, so that when she does it will be a sign that she trusts him.........Guess what, she never tell hims!!!! I kept waiting for that!!

2. The Duke makes a toast for the newlyweds stating how he hopes to find Juliet happy when they go visit in the spring ( it was understood as a threat) Guess what, No visit, they where hardly mentioned after that!!!

3. As I mentioned before no declaration of love in the book.

4. The male lead sister is said to be in love with the doctor, after the doctors wife is killed ....yup, part of the (I believe) very rushed ending, you don't get to see this 2 interact to get and idea of what gives.....

There are other little things out there, but I'll leave it there......I just ask my self if no one else was left wanting....

So I think this books have a lot of potential but the holes in it and the rush endings just don't do it for me. I don't think I'll buy any others.

The Infamous Bride Once Upon a Wedding Book 4 eBook Kelly McClymer Reviews

It was not a bad book, I did enjoy some of it, but it seamed to just drop at the end, finished too abruptly. Not one I would look to read the rest of the series.
This book had its own flare to it. The American/Shakespeare themes made it different to the rest. I expected more 'scandal' to be attached to this bride, but it was surprisingly not the case. A few bits were boring, but the end really smacked you in the face with unexpected happenings. Overall, really good, but not the best.
Absolutely love this series. Never a dull moment. Kelly McClymer keeps you interested from the first page to the last.
I stumbled upon this little Regency series in the store. What a happy surprise. I not only purchased this book, I purchased and read them all. Kelly McClymer created a family to rival the Bridertons. The Fensters are lively, loving, and just plain fun. I want to live next door.

If you love Juila Quinn, you will love Kelly McClymer's "Once Upon a Wedding" series.
These bride books are so addicting! I had to keep getting the next series to find out what happened to the other siblings!
Another great book by Kelly McClymer...I would recommend all of her books. They are a quick read but also interesting, funny, and heart-warming. I would highly recommend!
